1st Bank & Trust was originally chartered as Citizens State Bank and first opened for business on May 6, 1946 in downtown Broken Bow, Oklahoma. Through the decades, the bank's charter changed from Citizens State Bank to First National Bank, to 1st Broken Bow Bank & Trust and finally to its current charter as 1st Bank & Trust. Though the bank's name has changed through the years, its philosophy has not - our first priority is always to provide quality customer service and fairly priced financial services to our customers.
1st Bank & Trust has grown with McCurtain County. A branch bank was built on North Park Drive in 1978 and the former Wright City State Bank was purchased in 1987 adding a third location at Wright City, Oklahoma. In October of 1997, the main bank moved to its present location on South Park Drive in Broken Bow. In the spring of 1998, the bank's fourth location opened north of Broken Bow in the Hochatown Community. The newest location is the Idabel location, a beautiful full service facility opened in late 2005. This location will be the focus of various State Centennial Projects in 2007. The
Directors and Officers of 1st Bank & Trust are proud of all the fine
locations and staff serving McCurtain County. Please visit any location
for the best in banking
service. |
